SO, I have some work to do now in updating all the xml files in my fomod library to the UTF format. Why complain with one file, but not the other? (Changing that file to UTF format gives no problems and is also accepted by v12) That one does not have a UTF header but is still accepted by v12. v11 had no problem with these files as pain ANSI and assumed UTF format for an XML file I guess.Ģ. Apparently v12 is more standardized on XML hence the failure to load. Any change on FO3 i made into a fomod I can install/un-install with FOMM) still had their headers intact.ġ. The ones I could load initially (10 out of the 106 fomods. After I changed that and updated the files the format is OK now and I can generate the package. For some reason the textpad editor XML write default was not UTF. The file was written in default ANSI format. The UTF-16 identifier (0xFF 0xFE) was not there. You were right, the info.xml file was corrupted. And I changed UTF-16 too UTF-8 but still no load. Included xml of a small fomod that does not load in V21. Then I switched back to FOMM v11.9 and could load all the fomods without any problems. I did some more testing by creating some fomods with v12 (Still unable to load). I have this with all fomods created with FOMM v12. I tried your surgestion but that did not make any difference.
